The Telangana Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TRERA) was implemented to promote Consumer Protection, Transparency And Standardization of Business Practices in order to improve the overall functioning of the Real Estate Sector.

Now, without RERA registration, developers and agents cannot legally promote or sell their projects. This helps consumers believe in the authenticity of the dealers and their projects. The enforcement of RERA has helped build trust between Developers and Consumers, which has proven beneficial for the Real Estate Sector.
