One of the key elements in creating a sustainable ecosystem within a residential community is to create awareness. Creating awareness in residents about what sustainable construction means is important; how it optimises the use of local materials, minimises the impact on local ecology and most importantly reduces power, water and material requirements for long-term behaviour change.
Eco-friendly materials and the integration of natural energy resources into the architectural design is seen increasingly in recent constructions by developers. These resources include rainwater harvesting, waste management and solar power. With newer technologies integrated into the construction process, advanced assessment of sites via drones will allow minimal impact on the environment in the construction process.
Our Director Mr. Rakesh Reddy talks about Eco-friendly construction in an article authored for MGS Architecture. Read more here
